University of El Oued

The University of El Oued honors Uzbek students on the occasion of completing their training in the Arabic language.

On January 29, 2024, the Faculty of Literature and Languages at the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar organized an honorary ceremony for Uzbek students who completed an intensive training program in the Arabic language lasting four months. The ceremony was presided over by the University rector, Professor Omar Ferhati, along with the Director of University Services, Professor Dalal Oushen, the Dean of Social and human sciences  faculty  , Professor Ammar Gharissa, and the presence of the Deputy Dean of Literature and Languages for postgraduate studies, Professor Youssef Al-Ayeb, and the Head of the Department, Dr. Abdelaziz Msbahy, and the Secretary-General of the Faculty, and the Head of the Pedagogical Committee, Dr. Hamza Hamada.

The University rector commended the 11 Uzbek students for their proficiency in both spoken and written Arabic, thanking their supervisor, Professor Aijol bint Omar, for successful guidance and wishing them a prosperous future in their homeland with the Arabic language.

The Dean of the faculty expressed gratitude to the Uzbek students for their success in mastering the Arabic language, learning its rules, and some of its sciences. She also acknowledged the active role of the University rector, who spared no effort, according to her, in providing the necessary conditions to ensure a good study environment for Uzbek students, wishing them success and luck in their academic future. The Head of the Pedagogical Committee overseeing the teaching of Arabic to non-Arabic speakers, Dr. Hamza Hamada, also praised the Uzbek students’ level and their proficiency in accelerating their learning process, reaching an impressive level, thanking the professors who taught them the Arabic language.

The Director of University Services, Djamal Koraicha, delivered a farewell speech to the Uzbek students, acknowledging their good behavior and treatment throughout their stay, wishing them a safe return to their homeland.

In their words, the Uzbek students expressed heartfelt thanks to the University rector for all the facilities provided in the distinguished training they received. They thanked the Dean of the Faculty, all the teaching staff, the Director of University Services, and the entire university community of Echahid  Hamma Lakhdar University. They reminisced that their training days were bright days of knowledge in their second home, Algeria, where they were captivated by its beauty and the kindness of its people, expressing their admiration.
