El Oued University towards the localization of the unit in anthropology with the National Center for Research in Social and Cultural Anthropology CRASC
Today, Thursday, February 9, 2023, a coordination and consultative meeting was held via remote communication technology between Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University and a research center in social and cultural anthropology with its various research units in Oran, Algiers and Constantine.
The meeting gathered from El Oed University, Professor Gueadda Elhabib, Vice President of the University in charge of External Relations, Dr.Reguig Abdellah, Professor of Social and Cultural Anthropology in the Department of Social Sciences, Dr. Adhahabi Ibrahim, Professor of the Fields of Social Sciences, Dr. Ben Omar Souhila, Professor of Cultural Studies in the Department of Arabic Language, and Dr. Azzam Awadi Abdelkader , Professor of History and Anthropology at the Department of History, researcher Hazla Nabila, Professor of French at the Department of Languages, and from the Social and Cultural Anthropology Research Center, Messrs. Nawar Fouad, Assistant Director of the Center, Moudjahidi Mostafa, Head of the Scientific Council, Boulfadaoui Fatima Al-Zahraa, Director of the Research Department, Social anthropology of History and Memory, and Bachiri Hamza Director of the Research Department, Cities and Regions, Akis Kaltouma, Director of the Research Unit on Translation and Terminology, Hamou Abdelkarim, Director of the Research Unit on Culture, Literature and Communication, Rahayel Al-Tayeb, Director of the Research Unit on Emerging Regions and Societies, Fahhas Sabrina, Head of the Department of External Relations and Research Valuation, and Ben Halima Nadira, Head of the External Relations Department .
During the meeting, cooperation mechanisms were discussed. This comes within the recommendation of the Rector of the University, Professor Omar Farahati, to train doctoral students, exchange students for post-graduation, establish forums of a formative nature, and joint research work to produce research and academic studies through The total of the fourteen research units 14 included in the Research Center in Social and Cultural Anthropology. The research unit also aims to preserve the tangible and intangible heritage that abounds in the Oued Souf region in particular and Algeria in general, and work through this unit among researchers to introduce heritage in its academic scientific contexts through raising the level of national and international scientific publishing, as well as working to establish a joint database between El-Oued University and CRASC for research and giving cultural action a scientific format to protect and introduce the heritage of the Algerian nation.
The meeting concluded with approval and acceptance of all the terms that will form the basis of the agreement .
