Today, Monday, June 05, 2023, the Rector of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University – El Oued – Professor Omar Farhati, accompanied by his Vice Rector in charge of external relations, Professor Guedda Elhabib, held a meeting with the professor and national expert in the field of medical physics, Morad Bourouina who is a member of the raining team in the specialty of medical physics at El Oued University . The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Prof. Abdelouahab Mansour, Head of the Physics Department, Dr. Morad Mimouni, Head of the Physics Division, Dr. Rachid Ahmime, and the president of physics radiation section , and Mr. Secretary General of the Faculty, Hani Sadak.

The meeting dealt with ways to strengthen the training team with national and international expertise and draw up a strategy to achieve qualitative training for students of this very important and vital specialization due to the severe shortage in the labor market for specialists in this field, especially in cancer treatment centers and radiology centers of all kinds.

The Rector of the University appreciated the efforts made by the faculty and department staff in this regard and listened to all the existing concerns. He encouraged everyone to continue this great effort and expressed his readiness to implement all the proposals of the medical physics working group.
