On February 28th, 2023, the President of the Education University of Naberezhnye Chelny, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, Professor Galiaq Perova, delivered an introductory lecture about her university in the lecture hall of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at the University of El-Wadi. The President was accompanied by her colleague, Professor Sharfov Oleg, and the Deputy Director for External Relations, Professor Qadda Al-Habib, as well as the deans of various faculties and members of the university community.
Following the lecture, there were several questions and discussions from professors and student interaction with the lecture, with many questions answered by President Galiaq Perova. Finally, Professor Galiaq Perova and her entourage expressed their admiration for the University of El-Wadi and praised the efforts made by the university director and staff to develop the university in various fields, as well as the agreement between the two institutions allowing for student exchanges and scientific missions. In turn, the Deputy Director of the University, Professor Qadda Al-Habib, expressed his gratitude and happiness for the visit and for the twinning of the two universities.
During their two-day stay in El-Wadi, the delegation from the Russian Tatarstan University also went on a tour of various tourist and cultural sites in the city of Al-Alf Quba and its suburbs, organized by the University of El-Wadi.
