Today, October 26, 2022, the Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, the Rector of the University, held a meeting with representatives of student organizations. This meeting the was attended by the Vice- rectors in charge of pedagogy, in charge of development and foresight, the Secretary-General of the University, the sub-director of activities, the director of university services, and the head of the Monitoring and Coordination Department. As for the student organizations side, the student representatives attended: Lamoshi Omar (UGUA), Al-Saeed Hamza (A.R.E.N), Walid Qadir (O.E.A.L), Haniyat Mohammad Ayman (O.N.S.E), Faris Zawayed (M.N.E.A) Haji Khalifa Bin Omar (V.N.E.A.A) Swaleh Mohamed Ahmed (O.N.E.L) Noureddine Adayka (R.E.A.l).
After welcoming the attendees, the Rector of the University praised the spirit of responsibility of the student organizations. The rector and his vice-rectors also gave presentations on the pedagogical issue and all matters related to the good conduct of faculties and the Institutes of the university. The rector stressed that the pedagogical registrations took place on time, as he referred to the preparations related to the doctoral projects and the focus on innovative projects, the university incubator, the achievements of the university and the role of students in it. The Rector also noted the directives of the Minister regarding the digitization process.
The meeting dealt with a number of points raised by student organizations concerning the pedagogical, structural, administrative and service fields, such as food, transportation, activities and the work of clubs.
Representatives of student organizations received adequate answers to their concerns from the administrative and pedagogical staff, each in his own right. The Director of University Services, Khadim Mohammad, also gave clarifications on most of the student organizations’ concerns regarding university services.
For his part, Mr. Zeidan Bashir, Sub-Director of Activities, gave a presentation on cultural, scientific and sports activities, inviting students to participate in them. The Secretary-General of the University, Mr. Shawki Mudallal, called the students to engage afforestation campaigns and cleaning the environment and pledge to provide all support and means for that.
