The Rector of El Oued University participates in the 5 + 5 meeting of the Algerian and Tunisian border universities in Tunisia

The Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar professor Farhati Omar and his vice -Rector in charge of External Relations, Cooperation, Animation and Communication, and Scientific Events professor Geudda El Habib participated in the second meeting of Algerian and Tunisian border universities which took place on May 11, 2023 in jendouba, it brought together the rectors of the universities of the cities located on the borders of the two countries. The meeting was attended by the universities of jendouba, Gafsa, Gabes, Sfax and Kairouan under the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and the rectors of the universities El Tarf, Tébessa, Souk Ahras, El Oued and Annaba on the Algerian side.

The Rector of the University of Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar-El Oued-Professor Omar Farhati, as coordinator of the Algerian universities, presented a speech in which he touched on the depth of the fraternal and historical relations that bind the two brotherly countries. He talked about the preparations for the international doctoral meeting, which will be organized by El Oued University in December 2023.

At the end of the meeting Vice-Rectors and Rectors of the participating universities met in a special session to propose a program of short, medium and long-term activities in the coming stages.
