Final preparations for the doctoral competition at El Oued University

Today, February 2, 2023, Professor Boubaker Mansour, Vice Rector of Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar University, in charge of scientific research, visited  the Faculties of Literature, Languages, Law, Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences  to see  the final preparations for the PhD competition that  will take part at El Oued University on Saturday, February 4, 2023 in its first phase. As for the second phase of the doctoral competition will take part on February 11.

The total number of candidates for the doctoral competition at El Oued University this year reached 8,477 candidates distributed in 12 divisions and 23 majors, while the number of proposed positions reached 72 positions.

The number of candidates for the competition in the faculty  of Literature and Languages is estimated at 749 candidates for the English Language Division with 3 specializations, and in the faculty of Law and Political Science 2182 candidates in 3 specializations, distributed over 580 candidates in business law, 1106 candidates in administrative law, and 496 candidates in real estate law.

As for the faculty of  Human and Social Sciences, the number of candidates reached 1194, distributed in the field of philosophy with 386 candidates, and in the field of media and communication sciences with 808 candidates in 3 majors:

Audiovisual specialization with 255 candidates, print and electronic journalism with 149 candidates, and mass communication and new media with 404 candidates.

The Vice Rector of the University in charge of  Scientific Research and Post-graduation in his tour and after standing on all the final preparations for the competition confirmed that El Oued University is fully prepared to receive the nominated students and to conduct the competition in excellent conditions that help the candidate to provide the best
