Participation of professors from the University of the El Oued in the Erasmus + formative program at the University of Rouen, France

Within the framework of the training course organized by the Erasmus + program, professors from Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University participated in the training on sustainable development and social responsibility. The training began on Monday, May 22, 2023, and will continue until Friday, May 26, 2023. the professors are Faress Issadi ,Amar Zaabi and Salah Khachkhoche and Mr Karchou Zakaria. The program includes many lectures, the main is “13 years of sustainable development and social responsibility at the University of Rouen” delivered by Professor Fabian Tomer. A visit to the university campus was also organized to see the various devices related to sustainable development at the level of the University of Rouen, with explanations about them and the various stakeholders involved in achieving the set goals.

A public panel discussion was organized to answer the question of how to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the various risks involved, the proposed solutions, and the strategies that should be implemented.

The second day witnessed a lecture entitled “Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility in Training” by Professor Fabian Tomer, as well as a lecture on climate change by Camille Bruni.

In the evening, there were practical workshops that dealt with discussing the causes, risks and effects of climate change on the future of humanity.

Most of the interventions focused on ways of influencing the culture of individuals and imparting behaviors that contribute to preserving the environment and avoiding harmful effects on it.

The various organized events witnessed active participation by all attendees, which gave a good impression about the Algerian delegation and its awareness of the various threats to the environment.
