  The official launch of doctoral training for the academic year 2022_2023, El Oued University

 

Today, March 23, 2023, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research gave the signal to launch doctoral training activities for the academic year 2022-2023, and in accordance with Ministerial Resolution No. 1419 of December 24, 2022 that defines the Transversal Units in order to support training in the third phase in higher education institutions. Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University – El Oued – started organizing the event today, in the presence of the University’s Vice Rector in charge of Scientific Research, Professor Boubaker Mansour, the University’s Vice Rector in charge of External Relations, Professor Guedda Elhabib , and the University’s Vice Rector in charge of Pedagogy, Professor Bachir Mannai. The deans of the faculties and their deputies, members of the doctoral training committees, directors of research laboratories, new doctoral students, and a group of the university family.

In his speech, the Vice Rector of the University, Prof. Guedda Elhabib, on behalf of the Rector of the University, Professor Omar Farahati, welcomed the attendees and congratulated the new doctoral students, thanking all the contributors to organizing and making the competitions a success, and pointed out the possibility of benefiting from various scholarships for doctoral students,

Within the occasion , the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research addressed directly, via video conference technology, the university family, welcoming them and the doctoral students. He referred that the first training program for new doctoral students included the preparation of national references in educational units, philosophy, English language, and information and communication technologies.

He added that a national committee is appointed to accompany the formation of doctoral students and to ensure that they follow up their formation in the best conditions.

The Vice Rector of the University in charge of scientific research, Professor Boubaker Mansour, gave a directive speech on the contents of the initial training program intended for the benefit of new doctoral students.

The event allowed the newly successful doctoral students to meet with the training teams and with the special cell to get acquainted with the various strategies governing their training and the most important rights and duties of the doctoral student, especially those related to the ethics of research and the profession.
