Maskara University ranks first in the competition of animation on the stage at the University
Student Nasser Marwa, a representative of Mascara University, won first place in the National Animation on the Stage Competition, which was organized today, March 14, 2023, by the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural and Sports Activities at Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University. The student Rahma Kaawane, representing the University of Setif 2, ranked second, while the student Salma Boudiar from El-Oued University ranked third.
10 candidates participated in this national competition in its fourth edition. They were selected from a total of 181 participants representing 45 university institutions.
The competition aims to discover student talents in the art of animation and employ them in various activities, in addition to consolidating the national memory.
the competition took place in the presence of the Rector of the University of El Oued, Prof. Omar Farhati, the Vice-Rectors , the Secretary General of the University, the deans of the faculties, the sub-director of activities, the members of the arbitration committee, the representative of the Civil Protection and the university family of professors and students.
In his opening speech, the Rector of the University welcomed the attendees, thanking the Secretary-General of the University and the Sub-Director of Activities for the efforts made to make the events a success.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences gave a welcoming speech to the audience and all the participants in the competition from various university institutions.
Dr. Karima Abbad, as a journalist and a member of the jury, expressed her happiness for her presence in the committee and in this event. She also praised the organizational level, accuracy and methodology in the organization, and gave the full mark to El Oued University for organizing the competition, wishing success to all the participants.
The arbitration committee is consisted of the head of the committee, Dr. Guita Fatima Zohra, and the members, Dr. Saad Mrdaf, Dr. Karima Abbad, a journalist and professor at the University of Algiers 2, and Dr. Ahmed Gharbi, a journalist and professor at the University of Algiers 2.
The competition committee adopted several precise criteria, including vocal performance, appearance, dress, charisma, improvisation, and good preparation. On the occasion, the winners were also honored with valuable prizes and gifts by the university.
