Today, February 27, 2023, the Rector of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University, Professor Omar Farahati, gave the signal of the launch of the National University Monologue Festival in its eighth edition, which is organized by the directorate of University Services in coordination with the Cultural Radiation Association for Creative Youth. This theatrical event was attended by the President of the People’s Assembly, Hassani Azzidine, his deputy Fares Belabassi, the Director of Culture of the Wilaya of El Oued ,the representative of the Director of Tourism, the Director of the House of Culture, Mohammed Al-Amoudi, the Director of University Services and his staff , the Secretary General of the University, A large group of students and those interested in theatrical art. The festival includes nine participants in the competition and an honorable presentation of the State of Tunisia. It also includes several workshops, a theatrical writing workshop, an actor preparation workshop, a screen workshop, and a directing workshop.

The National University Monologue Festival aims to be a catalogue

To consolidate great values in the love of the homeland and pride in belonging to the nation and to build bridges of communication between the sons of the same country. It is also an opportunity for artistic creativity in the university environment and instills the spirit of brotherhood and love among students, and contributes to the discovery and new talents among students.
