In preparation for the establishment of an artificial intelligence pole in the agricultural field at El Oued University

Today, January 30, 2023, the Rector of the University of Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farahati, supervised the meeting dedicated to preparations for the scientific day of artificial intelligence and its applications in the agricultural field, which was attended by the Vice Rector in charge of External Relations, Prof. Gueddah Elhabib, the Vice Rector in charge of development and foresight,                              Dr. Lasoud  Abdel halim, and the deans of the faculties And a group of professors, the head of the Department of Automatic Information, the head of the Department of Agricultural Sciences, and the general secretaries of the faculties.

The Rector gave a detailed presentation of the preparations and opened the door for discussion for the attendees to raise all concerns and suggestions.

During the meeting, the committees were allocated, as follows:

Formation Committee, Exhibition Committee, Steering Committee, File Preparation Committee and Logistics Committee.

  This scientific events  is witnessing the participation of many specialists in the field of artificial intelligence from inside and outside the country, neighboring universities, and representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

  He is expected to prepare a complete file requesting the establishment of an artificial intelligence pole in the field of agriculture in the University of Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar, to be deposited in the General Directorate of Scientific Research.
