The rector of the University of El Oued inaugurates and inspects several new university facilities.
Today, on January 22, 2024, Professor Omar Ferhati, the rector of the University of El Oued, inaugurated and inspected several new university facilities. He also supervised the selection process for small business projects at the business incubator.
the university rector oversaw the selection of projects for small enterprises at the business incubator, along with Dr. Farhat Mohamed Fouad, the director of interfaces, vice rector of the university in charge of external relations, and the head of the research center for physical and chemical analyses. During this event, the university rector inspected the selection process of student projects, totaling 24 diverse economic projects. He spoke with the project owners, encouraging them to move forward in their field work and assuring them of the support from the incubator and the university for their economic projects.
Additionally, the university rector inaugurated training and information rooms in the faculties of literature and languages, social and human sciences, law, and political science. He also inaugurated a lecture and discussion hall at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences. The university rector inspected the preparation works for the lecture and discussion hall at the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
Throughout his practical tour, the university rector was accompanied by his deputies for development, foresight, and pedagogy, as well as the general secretary of the university and the deans of the relevant faculties. The deans welcomed the university rector, thanking him for the support and significant achievements in their respective faculties. They pledged to work diligently to achieve the goals of these new facilities in their faculties.
The university rector, during each stage of the inauguration and inspection, expressed his gratitude to all the deans and their administrative and pedagogical teams for their tremendous efforts in achieving a qualitative leap in management and educational work. He emphasized the need to make optimal use of these new spaces, making them serve high-quality university education with its various specializations. He stated that the university, with its professors and students, is the engine of the elite leading society towards progress and prosperity.
