El Oued University honors its workers and celebrates their feast

Today, May 7, 2023 Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University and its social services organized a major celebration on the occasion of Labor Day in honor of university professors and employees in the Grand Lecture Hall, Abu Al-kasim Saadallah. In the presence of the university Vice Rectors , deans of the faculties, the Secretary-General of the University, the Director of University Services, the Chairman of the Social Services Committee, the Media, Communication and Publishing Authority of the University, the Sub-Director of Activities, the University’s executives, and a group of professors and employee. this celebration was activated by Dr. Abdel hamid Faradj and the journalist Madani Hammadi.

In his opening speech, the Rector of the University welcomed the attendees and congratulated the professors and employees of the University on their International Day, thanking them for their efforts in serving the University and promoting it, and they are the ones who contributed to the University reaching important achievements in several fields, appreciating the efforts of the Director of Social Services and all Committee members who are keen to serve the worker in various aspects, health, tourism and subsidies in several fields. He also thanked the Director of University Services and its executives for their watch over our students and the care and follow-up they provided to the delegation from the sister country of Uzbekistan.

The Rector singled out his speech for the important event in our national memory, which is the demonstrations and massacres of May 8, 1945, highlighting the sacrifices of the martyrs and the Algerian people, and that these massacres committed by the French colonialists did not discourage the Algerian people from their freedom, but decided the path of struggle and liberation revolution, so thanks to the sacrifices of the  honorable martyrs, we today enjoy freedom and independence .

The Chairman of the Social Services Committee, Dr. Heima Abdekader, give a welcoming speech, indicating several additions in social services for this academic year.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of many professors and employees, as the number of honorees reached 60, and the accountant of the university, Mr. Nin Said, was honored for the great efforts made by him in favor of the good conduct of the accounting and financial matters of the university.

In the ceremony The student Kadouri Salaheddine presented a link in anachid praising the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and a second link in the imitation of voices by the student Mohammed Mubarak Achab.
