The Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar  professor Farhati Omar and his vice -Rector in charge of of External Relations, Cooperation, Animation and Communication, and Scientific Events professor Geudda 

El Habib participated in the Conference of Presidents of Algerian and Tunisian border universities  which took place on November 2, 2022 in Annaba, it brought together   the rectors of the universities of the cities located on the borders of the two countries. The meeting was dedicated to the development of the implementation plan of the cooperation agreement between the rectors of the universities of jendouba, Gafsa, Gabes, Sfax and Kairouan under the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and the rectors of the universities El Tarf, Tébessa, Souk Ahras, El Oued and Annaba on the Algerian side. The agreement within the framework of the twinning between the universities of the cities of the two countries, known as the 5+5, aims to mobilize the potentialities and resources existing within these university institutions to promote academic performance and scientific research. For two days, the parties concerned by this agreement focused on the definition of joint research programs, the issuance of certificates and the co-supervision of doctoral theses, the strengthening of exchanges of visits and the development of a data from teacher-researchers at these universities. As a reminder, this cooperation agreement was signed between the ministries of higher education of the two neighboring and friendly countries in March 2022.

Professor Guedda El Habib exposed an introductory presentation to El Oued University.

Professor Omar Farhati exposed a summary of the relations between Algerian and Tunisian universities in terms of joint programs and exchange .

It was agreed to schedule the next symposium at the Tunisian University of jendouba in March 2023 and at the University of  El Chahid  Hamma Lakhdar El Oued during the month of November 2023.
