On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, Vice Rector of the University, Professor Bachir Mannai, on behalf of the Rector, Professor Omar Farahati inaugurated the activities of the study day on biological sciences in its sixth edition, and this was in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Zaatar Abdelmalak, the head of the Biodiversity Research Laboratory and Applications of Biotechnology in the Agricultural field, Dr. Nili Mohamed Al-Saghir  and the director of the study day Professor Samir Darwich  who  highlighted the importance of the series of study days at the level of 10 years in improving the level of students and encouraging them to continue in the scientific paths.

Dr Nili the head of the laboratory ,in his speech, exposed the main activities of the laboratory and presented the  annual report of the most important activities .

 Dr. Mannai, the Vice Rector of the University, welcomed the attendance , as he appreciated this academic day in its sixth edition, and highlighted the role of the faculty in stimulating the scientific movement at the university level.

By the occasion ,he congratulated the university family  for the opening of the medical annex   of medicine under the supervision of Professor Darwich Samir, expressing his satisfaction with the level the faculty has reached.

he said that this year is distinguished by participation from inside and outside the university, which gave it a national character, as the number of participations reached more than 65, including 3 lectures and 15 oral presentations. And the rest are commentator presentations.

The study day  was concluded with an important set of recommendations
