The rector of the University of El Oued inaugurated the Training and Information Hall at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences
“Today, on January 21, 2024, Professor Omar Ferhati, the rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhder, inaugurated the Training and Information Hall at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. The university rector was accompanied by his deputy for development and foresight, Professor Amar Zaaibi, the dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Professor Ibrahim Rahmani, the university’s general secretary, DrChaouki Madlal, the dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Dr. Amar Ghrayssa, and the Palestinian student, Mohammed AbdulKarim Mokdad.
The inauguration ceremony featured an audio-visual presentation about the activities of the faculty. On this occasion, the university rector expressed gratitude to the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, especially to the dean and all its administrative and academic staff. He praised the scientific and research efforts of the faculty, highlighting its role in promoting moderation values and strengthening national identity. The rector commended the faculty for utilizing the new academic facility to enhance education and information services. He also expressed solidarity with Palestinian students, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause is central to the Algerian people.
In response, the dean of the faculty welcomed the university rector and the accompanying delegation, expressing gratitude for the rector’s continuous support for the faculty and its community.”
