The University of El Oued participates in a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Ministry on the Consultation, Research, and Development Office.
Today, on January 21, 2024, the University of Martyr Hamah Lakhder, represented by the university rector, Professor Omar Ferhati, along with his deputy, Mohammed Fouad Ferhati, for external relations, the head of university interfaces, the university’s general secretary, Dr. Shouki Madlal, the head of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, Dr. Mohammed Youssef Ammara, and the head of the Networks Department, Mr. Samir Gueadiri, participated in the regional seminar for Eastern universities on the establishment of the Consultation, Research, and Development Office. The seminar was presided over by the General Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with the head of the National Committee for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Incubators.
This seminar, conducted through remote lecturing technology, is part of the efforts of the higher education and scientific research sector to make its university and research institutions creative contributors to economic and social development. The participants in this meeting included the regional seminar president, directors of higher education and scientific research institutions, and the general secretaries of university institutions.
The focus of the meeting revolved around the mechanisms of establishing an interface called the ‘Consultation, Research, and Development Office,’ which plays a crucial role in wealth creation, in accordance with Decision 215. This decision enables the university to establish its own institution according to the legal forms proposed by the ministry (SPA or SARL), providing strength and support to the national economy.”
