The Rector of El Oued University supervises the first semester evaluation meeting
Today, January 16, 2024, the Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, supervised an evaluation meeting of the pedagogical activities for the first semester of the current academic season.
The meeting was attended by the deans of faculties and their deputies, the director of the medical annex , general secretaries, department heads, the head of the committee of promoting English language teaching at the university, the head of the distance training, and the head of the Networks Department.
The University Rector was accompanied at this meeting by his Vice Rectors and the Secretary-General of the University.
In his opening speech, the University Rector highlighted the importance of evaluating the progress of the first semester, especially the exam, in order to reach a better level for the university.
The meeting dealt with presenting and discussing the topics included in the agenda, which are as follows:
1-Evaluation of the first semester exams.
2-The start of the second semester lessons.
3- A presentation about the digitization project.
4- A presentation on enhancing the use of the English language.
5- Presentation on distance education.
6- Presentation on continuous training.
7- Preparing for the doctorate.
On this occasion, the formation of the university’s continuing training committee was also announced, headed by the university’s vice rector in charge of pedagogy, deputy deans for studies, two research professors, and two engineers from the systems and networks department.
