An evaluation meeting at University of El Oued regarding classification and the university’s visibility

Today, November 14, 2023, the Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, supervised an evaluation meeting on the visibility and classification of the university’s website. The meeting included the Vice Rectors in charge of external relations, scientific research and pedagogy, the deans of faculties  and their deputies for post-graduation, the sub-director of means, and Professor Zohair Tair who is in charge of monitoring the site, along with Dr. Bachir Ben Saghier, who is in charge of upgrading the university’s visibility, Professor Ammar Zuabi, the head of the Networks and Communication Systems Department, and the central site official. .

The university Rector opened the meeting, pointing out the need to evaluate the level reached by the university’s visibility, calling on those concerned to solve the existing problems in order to improve the university’s visibility and classification. Dr. Bachir Bein Saghir gave a presentation on recorded observations that require urgent solutions, and Dr. Ammar Zuabi gave a presentation on collecting and counting information and translating it into English to improve the university’s visibility in the QS and THE global rankings.

Professor Boubakar Mansour also gave a presentation on the ongoing preparations for the International Doctoral Forum, which the university will organize on December 11-12-13.

During the meeting, it was decided to form a university visual follow-up committee under the supervision of a specialized expert, in addition to holding a meeting to identify those responsible for statistics and data collection at the level of the eight faculties .
