El Oued University receives 11 students from Uzbekistan They came to Learn Arabic language

On Monday, October 08, 2023, Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar University received a delegation of Uzbek students coming from the Uzbek State University of International Languages in order to learn Arabic at the Faculty of Literature and Languages. This educational and pedagogical process falls within the framework of the joint twinning agreement signed in February between El Oued University and Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

The Uzbek student delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Languages, Professor Dalal Ouchan, accompanied by the pedagogical staff consisting of the Vice Dean in charge of post-graduation, Professor Youssef Layeb, the Vice Dean in charge studies, Dr. Nasser Dahdah and the head of the departement of Arabic language Dr .Yassine Mosbahi ,as well as the Director of University Services, Damal Koraicha, accompanied by the director of the hosting residence, Baiji Abderahmane, and Hamatine Saifeddine .

The Uzbek student delegation consists of 11 students and their supervising professor, Dr. Ogil Bint Omar.

The student delegation will benefit from an intensive study program to learn the Arabic language for non-native speakers under the supervision of expert professors well versed in this field at the Faculty of Literature and Languages.

It is to be mention that the University of the El Oued recently received an request from the University of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, to send a number of its students to learn the Arabic language within the framework of the twinning agreement concluded between the two universities.

The University of El Oued becomes an attractive station for teaching the Arabic language to foreign students due to the experience of the Department of Language and Arabic Literature of the Faculty in The field of teaching foreigners the Arabic language.
