The Rector of El Oued University meets with the Independent National Union of Higher Education and Scientific Research Employees

Today, September 26, 2023, the Rector of the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar, Professor Omar Farhati, held a meeting with the Independent National Syndicate of Higher Education and Scientific Research Employees (SNAPES) as part of his periodic meetings with social partners.

The meeting was attended , from the administration’s side, the university’s Vice Rector in charge of development and forecasting, the university’s vice chancellor in charge of pedagogy, Professor Bashir Manai, the university’s Vice Rector in charge of external relations, the university’s secretary-general, and the sub-director of cultural, scientific and sporting activities. On the side of the workers’ union, the union’s president, Mr. Samama Al-Hadi, and the members who are Messbahi Hassan, Nabil Maida, Attia Mohamed, and Saray Fathi

The meeting agenda included several points of interest to the social partner, including the promotions file, internal and external employee training, the feeding file, and others.

The University Rector pledged to study all the concerns raised by the union, take them into consideration, and find all appropriate solutions, appreciating the role of the union members for their efforts. The union also praised the efforts of the university rector and what he is doing to advance the university and its employees.
