El Oued university reveals new invention of its students Smart cane, talking glasses for the blind, and transportation application
Today 6-6-2023, students Khiari Ahmed Khiari and Mahmoud Ayab from the Faculty of Technology at Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University discussed a master’s degree graduation memorandum within the framework of the stat-up – a patent according to Ministerial Resolution 1275,in which the students presented three inventions Smart cane, talking glasses for the blind, and transportation application.
The discussion session was attended by the Rector of the University, Professor Omar Farahati, his Vice -Rector in charge external relations, Professor Guedda Elhabib, the Director of the Business Incubator, Mohammed Fouad Farahat, and a number of professors, students and their parents.
The discussion committee consisted of six members: the chairman of the committee, Dr. Chouaib Alabyad, and two examiners, Dr. Misbah Al-Awamer and Dr. Mansouri Khaled, representative of the incubator, and the supervisor of the work of the two students, Dr. Hakima Echarif, and her assistant, Dr. Alali Nussaiba, in addition to the economic partner, representative of the Directorate of Solidarity and Social Activity.
Before the discussion session, the Rector of the University delivered a speech in which he praised the students’ achievements and their research projects, which, as he said, turned into patents.
The University Rector also appreciated the work of the committee supervising the evaluation of the students’ research project, as well as the great role played by the incubator director in order to support and accompany the projects of start-up – the patent within the framework of the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, pledging to provide all material, moral and pedagogical support to help students achieve their goals .
The incubator also organized, on the sidelines of the discussion session, a technology exhibition of the most important innovations that the students accomplished within the framework of innovative projects. The university rector and his vice in charge of external relations, members of the discussion committee, professors, students and their parents looked at them closely, as they were impressed by the innovations reached by the students of El Oued University.
