El Oued University organizes the first international forum “the Oasis statelets that were established in the Central Maghreb and Africa during the Middle Ages: importance, interaction, roles”
On December 13, 2022, the international forum “the Oasis statelets that were established in the Central Maghreb and Africa during the Middle Ages: importance, interaction, roles” was launched at the University of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar university , Faculty of social and human sciences under the supervision of the university rector Prof. Ferhati Omar, in the presence of:
the Vice Rector in charge of external relations, Prof Guedda Elhabib
the Vice Rector in charge of scientific researches Prof.Aboubaker Manssour.
The dean of the faculty of Social and Human Sciences Dr Gharaissa Ammar.
The dean of the faculty of Literatures and Languages Dr.Ouachen Dalal.
The Moudjahid Khalaf Bachir .
The president of the Scientific comity of the forum Dr Allal Omar.
The president of the organizing comity Dr Azam Aouadi Abdelkader.
Teachers from Tunisia and from Algerian Universities .
Students and mass media.
The forum was opened on behalf of the University Rector, his Vice Rector in charge of external relations, Prof. Guedda Elhabib, who welcomed the attendees and thanked all the contributors to this important forum.
The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ghraissa Ammar Ghraissa, gave a welcoming speech to the attendees. He also praised the efforts of the head of the Economic and Social History Research Laboratory of Algeria for his contribution . The Dean of the College indicated that the Oasis statelets are the oasis cities located in the southeast of Algeria, from the Oued Souf region, the Saoura region – the M’zab region – Biskra – and Oued Righ and the Jerid oases in southern Tunisia.
Prof .Aghiab Said the director of the laboratory , Dr .Djedla Ibrahim from the university of Manouba and Prof.Ghnabsia Ali made their interventions .
