The Director of El Oued University holds a working session to discuss the sector’s new projects
Today, November 23, 2022, the Rector of El Chahid Hamma Lakhdar University, Professor Omar Farahati, supervised a working session in his office that dealt with the discussion of new projects for the university sector, including the pedagogical fields project, the young campaniles , , and the proposed new institutes project for the department of Meghaier and Touggourt .
The two vice presidents of the university in charge of external relations, in charge of scientific research, deans of colleges, the director of the university incubator and the head of the 5-star student committee participated in the discussion and enrichment of these new projects.
The New Fields project deals with how to improve the pedagogical and scientific formative process of the university student by grouping the fields of university specializations into five fields: the field of science and technology, the field of law, economics and human sciences, the field of arts and sports, and the field of health sciences. And how to transform a student who fails to succeed in any field to a professional bachelor’s degree with maintaining his obtained credit.
As for the university pole of excellence project, it focuses on gathering university and research institutions in the same region close to each other in one pole on the basis of benefiting from each other’s capacities.

Fouad, presented the status of the incubator and how to register students in the start-up projects, inviting the deans of the faculties to contribute to the awareness campaign and to register projects of students in the (start up) . He also spooked about two new universities of Touggourt and Meghaier that will be establish under the supervision of El Oued University.
The head of the 5-star student committee explained privileges offered to outstanding students, such as the 100 scholarships for the State of Hungary, provided to the student obtains a 5-star certificate. Throughout this meeting, the Rector of the University stressed the need for establishment of committees charged with following the decisions taken. He also called on the deans of the faculties to contribute effectively to the awareness and media campaigns in favor of registering the projects of the start up and awareness of the 5-star student process and its success in serving the student and the quality of his formation and raising the level of university efficiency.
