The International Forum on “Tourism Literature and its Impact on  Cultural Investment” held at El Oued University on November 15-16. At the end of its work it called on the media to participate in highlighting tourist places in literary texts.

About fifty Algerian researchers participating with researchers from Arab countries, namely the Sultanate of Oman, Palestine, and Egypt, as well as doctoral students, presented their intervention on the topic of tourism literature and its role in cultural investment, which is a new topic in the field of literature.

This scientific activity is organized by the Faculty of Literature and Languages ​​of the university , Algerian literature and its criticism Laboratory , Cognitive Integration between Arabic Language Sciences and Social Sciences Laboratory, and a research group for tourism discourse in Algerian literature.

 the university’s rector, Prof. Omar Ferhatti, announced the opening of the forum and he highlighted the importance of this scientific event directly related to tourism and culture.

The closing of the event was announced by the Vice -Rector of higher education In the third cycle and university habilitation, scientific research and higher formation in post-graduation, Prof. Boubaker Mansour, who stressed the importance of the forum  and the necessity of activating the cultural and literary clubs at the university.

Chairman of the Drafting Committee, Prof. Nabil Mezouar, Director of the Laboratory of Cognitive Integration between Arabic Language Sciences, Literature and Social Sciences, called on the media to highlight the tourist places that literary texts deal with and draw attention to literary tourism texts for the purpose of cultural investment, in addition he called all film- makers to work on literary tourism blogs.

 The forum also recommended valuing the efforts of those working in tourism literature to motivate them, and called researchers to establish research teams to study tourism literature, activating partnership between faculties of Literature and the tourism and culture sector, investing tourism texts in educational and educational activities, and creating a biography of tourist attractions which were represented in literary texts .

It should be noted that at the closing ceremony, certificates of participation were distributed to the research professors. The poets Meradaf Saad and Alawa Abdelbassat presented their pomes under the music of  Aoud  played by the artist Yeman Khaled
