A meeting of the Scientific Council for Publication of El Oued University
Today, January 25, 2023, the Vice Rector of Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University, in charge of scientific research and the Director of the Scientific Council for Publishing, Professor Boubaker Mansour, held a coordination meeting with the professors, chief editors of the university’s journals, in order to stand on the status of journals and publications, and to research a special strategy aimed at upgrading the classification of “C” magazines. To class “B” and then “A” and to develop a work plan for the academic year 2022/2023 and how to publish and print magazines and books.
Elchahid Hamma Lakhdar El Oued University is considered a pioneer in the field of publishing and classification, as it ranks first nationally in the number of classified journals with 26 journals classified as “C”.
During the meeting, Mr. Zoubi Ammar, Vice- Director of the Publishing Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences, gave a presentation on the status of magazines and publications at the university and explained a plan about the strategy and promotion of these journals to Class B. Mr. Attia Abdel Malek, representative of technical and technological journals, gave a presentation on publishing techniques and mechanisms to classify magazines in category “B” and “A”.
A scientific discussion of the professors and chief editors revolved around technical problems and difficulties in the field of classification, and the preservation of the successes achieved by El Oued University in the field of Scientific publishing at the national and international level.
