El Oued University concludes a twinning agreement with the Uzbek State University of International Languages
Today, February 8, 2023, Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University – El Oued and the Uzbek State University of International Languages concluded a joint framework agreement for cooperation in scientific research and student exchanges. They were signed on behalf of El Oued University, its Rector, Professor Omar Farhati, and on behalf of the Uzbek University, Acting Dr. Abd Djanif Ali Sheer.
The signing ceremony of the agreement, which took place in the central meeting room on the evening of the second day of the visit, was attended by the members of the guest delegation, the Dean of the Faculty of Translation, Dr. Rawadj Al-Din Kamarov, the Head of the Arabic Language Department in the same faculty, Dr. Kamala Gaderava, the official of external relations and the professor of translation, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zubaidi, while he was present from the side of El Oued University. Messrs., the vice-rectors for external relations, scientific research, pedagogy, the general secretary of the university, and the deans of the eight faculties of the university, along with the scientific, pedagogical and administrative staff.
The agreement includes the axes of joint cooperation between the two universities, the most important of which is cooperation in the field of scientific research, student exchanges, internship of teachers.
The Rector of ElOued University expressed his welcome and gratitude for the practical visit led by the delegation of the Uzbek University, which is the first of its kind to sign a cooperation agreement with an Algerian university in Algeria .
The ceremony of concluding the agreement was preceded by a presentation ofEl Oued University, as well as the most important features and advantages of the Oued Souf region in the fields of science, culture, agriculture and tourism. It was presented by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Literature, Dr. Nasser Dahdah. The guest delegation also gave a presentation on the most important activities of the University of Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek scientific delegation visited all the university faculties . They also went on a tourist visit to the Museum of the Thousand Domes Society for Heritage and Tourism and the local office for tourism and handicrafts. The delegation was impressed by the various types of tangible and intangible cultural and tourist heritage in Oued Souf.
